A self guided tour of the Eric S. Huestis Demonstration Forest, located a short distance north of Whitecourt off Highway 32, offers an inside view of a working forest. The forest covers 10 km and there are 26 interpretive sites on a 7 km trail. East site demonstrates a different management technique in the life cycle of the forests.
