Set against the mighty Athabasca River amongst the tall, dark pine trees and rolling greens is the Whitecourt Golf and Country Club.

The course is an 18 hole, par 72 golf course equipped with a licensed lounge and a fully stocked pro shop. It was designed and built in 1991 by Les Furber, an internationally acclaimed course designer who has put together 100 courses across the world including Cuba, the U.S, Bermuda, and Switzerland.

The lounge hosts several banquets throughout the year and has a full menu. The pro shop has all the top brands in the sport's equipment and apparel.
